Your audio
Local models. An explicit choice.
The desktop app uses local files and models. Parakeet is the default on Apple Silicon; Windows and Linux use a separately installed whisper.cpp engine and model. Model downloads require a network connection. Browser speech capabilities depend on the environment.
Can I download Mindump yet?
Download a preview package below. Available formats have been built and checked; they are still development releases, with the signing status and requirements shown next to each download.
What about macOS speech recognition?
Local Apple Speech integration is being tested. Support depends on the system and language; Polish was not available locally through this interface on the tested Mac. Parakeet remains the primary path for Polish.
Will there be web, mobile and Gabinet versions?
Web and mobile implementations exist, but device testing and feature parity are not complete. Gabinet is a planned variant of the shared application focused on transcript work, without cloud synchronization of recordings or notes.
